Flash forward to her second semester:
When her father received her progress report grades, he learned that she was now earning straight A’s in ALL OF HER CLASSES. In addition to Coach Teresa helping S. Carey better understand and master her Algebra 1 coursework, she was applying all the study, time management, test-taking, and growth strategies Coach Teresa had taught her.
S. Carey shared that learning math and studying, in general, was fun now and she looked forward to all her sessions with Coach Teresa, as well as, being able to use the strategies she learned to study all her academics on her own.

Scholar, A. Tamau started struggling with math at the start of Algebra 1 her freshman year earning C grades in math rather than her usually A grades. Her mother contacted Coach Teresa to help Scholar A. Tamau learn and master the essential algebra expression and equations skills to succeed in Algebra 1. Coach Teresa and scholar A. Tamau used guided notes like those in The Algebra Expressions and Equations Learning Academy. Mother S.
